Everything all at once
Well it is time for a lot of news all at once.
To start, we have 6 new kits available for you.
1. The Lotus Elan, Modified Race Version. Big arches and a widened stance to give it that oomph.
2. The Ford Popular, American Hot Rod. Inspired by American hot rod culture, with the big scoop on the bonnet, looking especially mean. The pink is optional.
3 and 4. The reworked body for the MGC GTS cars, both have been updated and now come with a 3DP anglewinder chassis
5 and 6. The Hudson Super 6 1917 Racer and Special. Two new period cars that look very pretty.
7. A load of figures are also finished and available for you, these ones including pit crew members.
Now you may notice something slightly different with our new listings. We have been experimenting with putting a bit more effort into our image processing. And after some trial and error we think the new header photos look a lot more eye catching, we hope you agree. The backgrounds we hope make our models stand out and give them that pop which draws in the eye. Also our standard blue background photos have been made neater so overall an improvement we believe.
Now onto some admin, I have finally gone through the suggestions and have updated them. So the new voting page for April is as follows:
https://smartpolls.co.uk/p/149275
And as ever the suggestions link: https://freesuggestionbox.com/pub/qyqfigw
Now to reply to some of the suggestions (subject to change and my whims haha)
The No plans at present list: Rover P6 (although it is a nice car), 1959 Ferrari GP no. 24 (moving away from grand prix cars at the moment as we do not seem to attract enough interest to sell them), Lotus Excel 1985 (too modern), Toyota Celica (too modern), 2014-15-16 Le Mans winners (too modern), Ecosse C286 (Nice but not on the cards at the moment), MG Magnette Saloon, MG NA (too similar to our existing MG), Fiat 850, Matra Simca Rancho, Morris Minor Traveller (although I do like it), Wolseley 6/90 police car, 1956 Renault Daphine (been done), Sunbeam Rapier (been done), BMW 1800, Ford Ranger 2019 (way too modern), MGB Le Mans car (like it but no plans), Alfa Romeo P3 Tipo B Monoposto (Been done), Fiat 1200/1500 Spider, Alfa Spider, Vauxhall Cresta PA, Sunbeam Stiletto, Vauxhall Viva HBGT, Triumph Vitesse, Sunbeam Rapier, Triumph Dolomite (been done), Ford Corsair, Jensen Interceptor, Rover P9, Triumph 1970 Rally car, Triumph TR7 Tony Pond car (too close to our existing TR7 and decals are expensive), Triumph Dolomite Sprint, Morris Marina, Lotus 11 Breadvan, Chaparral 2H with wing (been done)
Maybe: 4 Wheel Messerchmit (possibly as a 24th scale), Austin Healey 100/4, Hillman Avenger, Hillman Hunter, Austin 1800 (blocked out but need to do it), Bugatti T35 (blocked out but need to do),
Right we are up to date on that.
Also soon I will be doing an open Q and A or AMA. Ask me anything. I will put a post up for people to ask their questions in the comments and I will do my best to get back to everyone. Keep an eye out for this.
There we are, right you lot go buy some models!
