Corvette C1

Raced at Le mans in 1960 by the Cunningham team.

After an absence of 5 years Briggs Cunningham made a welcome return to Le Mans with a trio of fuel injected Chevrolet Corvette Coupes. The cars were near stock, but could reach over 150mph. Although the No. 2 car, driven by Dick Thompson did not finish the race due to an engine fire the No. 3 came 8th overall.
